Sushi: utopia or reality in Brussels?

Sushi lovers, Brussels has something for you. But be careful: often the most advertised is not the best one. Let's give a look to the sushi restaurant that we have tested.

[a] Sushi. Well located in the city centre, at 30 of Avenue des Celtes, this restaurant with the most eloquent name offers original tradition sushi, just with a touch of european taste. The problem is the price, which not proportioned to the modest portions. On TripAdvisor it gets three stars, and we think it's an appropriate rating.
[b] Yama Sushi. In Avenue Georges Henri 223. Not the most traditional japanese sushi, but for sure a very good experience. It is a very popular restaurant, so in the weekend it's recommended the booking of the table in advance.
[c] Makisu. Rue de Bailli 5. Original concept that mixes the traditional japanese cuisine with something like fois-gras or chili peppers. Then, after that, it proposes sushi in a fast-food way. People who like to sit and eat in complete relax may not appreciate it, but the food is very good and worths the try.
[d] Louis Sushi. Brusselbaan 102, Ixelles. This one is not very well located, but a good reputation made it a destination for sushi lovers of the whole city. We appreciated the kindness of the reception and the service, the quality of the food and the balance price / quality. Maybe it's the best sushi we have tasted in Brussels.

Summer night with Cloclo. A jump in the past of the French Chanson

Summer is hot and hotter in Brussels. Expats and foreigners find abundance of events, concerts and outdoor meetings to chill out and spend this sweet season.

Among all the events, there's a night dedicated to Claude François, unforgettable icon of the chanson française of the Sixties and Seventies, who tragically died in 1978 on the edge of his popularity.

Note the date: 17th June 2016, 19h30. The place: the restaurant Le Scénario, in Place Simonis 18, Brussels 1081. Monsieur Yan & le Favinettes Memories perform a night of music, tributing to the Claude François's repertoire.
What else have we to expect from that, apart from hearing Cloclo's lyrics, which have set on fire the hearts of our french grandmothers? The program of the night also includes drink and food (being in a restaurant, could not be otherwise). The event is organized by the Club Magnolias. The ticket price (43 euros for club members, 45 for not members) covers the concert and the whole dinner. And so, an apero, a starter, a main dish, and a dessert. Free drinks are offered throughout the whole dinner.
Look at the program in the image for information about the menu.
Reservations have to be made before the 10th June.
What looks like a delicious dinner, conjugated with a summer night of music and relaxation, can be definitely a different and interesting way for a foreigner to get into the belgian life (even if, very likely, the most of the public will be composed by people in their oldies).

(This above is the program of the night. Reservations are to be done via phone call).
